Getting that outdoor training in! The weather in NZ is lovely, (almost too hot) and so now is a great time to take advantage of it and get some outdoor training in. Here I'm working muscles in my back by doing some pull ups on one of the bars in the park!
Pull ups are where your palms are facing away from you (pronated grip) and you hang from the bar. Pull through your arms, elbows and upper back to bring your chin level with the bar. Lower with control and repeat.
People often confuse them with Chin Ups, which are the same movement but with your hands facing towards you - suprinated grip.
Both exercises are great for building up your back and shoulder strength.
